  • White sock
  • Rice or dried beans
  • Rubber bands
  • Buttons
  • Fabric scraps for scarf
  • Orange felt (for nose)
  • Black marker
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Sock Snowman

Use an old sock to make an adorable snowman!

Instructions

  1. 1

    Fill the sock with rice or dried beans

  2. 2

    Tie off the top with a rubber band

  3. 3

    Use another rubber band to create the head shape (about 1/3 from the top)

  4. 4

    Glue on buttons for eyes

  5. 5

    Cut a small triangle from orange felt for the nose and glue it on

  6. 6

    Use black marker to draw a mouth

  7. 7

    Tie a small piece of fabric around the neck for a scarf

  8. 8

    Add buttons down the front of the body

Prisha's Tips

You can use colorful socks to make different colored snowmen! Try adding small twigs for arms.
